Energy Transition Minerals (ASX: ETM) is an Australian-based exploration and development company focused on advancing large-scale critical minerals assets in western jurisdictions

With global supply chains undergoing major structural changes, ETM is positioned to provide exposure to strategically important rare earth, tin, tantalum, niobium and lithium assets located in Tier-1 regions.

The Company’s primary focus is the advanced Kvanefjeld Rare Earth Project in south-west Greenland. Kvanefjeld is one of the largest rare earths deposits in the world, with a Mineral Resource Estimate in accordance with the JORC Code exceeding one billion tonnes.

ETM has been progressing Kvanefjeld since 2007 and completed a Feasibility Study in 2015. Since 2021,  advancement of the project has been impacted by a permitting dispute following the passing of legislation in Greenland banning the extraction of radioactive mineralisation.

The ETM Board is confident in the Company’s legal position and is pursuing arbitration and parallel legal proceedings against the Greenlandic and Danish Governments to protect its interests.

In addition to Kvanefjeld, ETM has recently acquired the Penouta Tin-Tantalum-Niobium Project in Spain, which represents Europe’s only developed tin-tantalum-niobium mine.

Acquired through the insolvency process of the previous owner, Strategic Minerals Spain, Penouta last operated in October 2024 and benefits from existing site infrastructure and processing facilities, providing the potential for a rapid production restart.

ETM also holds high-quality lithium exploration assets in Spain and Canada.
